Electronic producer ZHU has officially announced a collaboration with Kevin Parker

Electronic producer ZHU has teased a forthcoming collaboration with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker.

UPDATE: Apparently ZHU previewed the Kevin Parker collaboration at FOMO festival a few weeks ago. Check it out below.

Kevin Parker has been keeping himself pretty busy with collaborations as of late. Just last week it was announced that he’d recorded three songs alongside SZA and Mark Ronson. And last year Ronson told Stereogum that he and Parker had recorded “eight or so new songs”.

The Tame Impala mastermind was also snapped in the studio working with US rapper Travis Scott in October last year. Now it’s been revealed that he’s been collaborating with electronic producer ZHU, according to Billboard.

A few weeks ago, the producer teased a potential collaboration with a tweet reading, “TameImpalaxzhu???”, but he offered no further explanation.

This week, ZHU performed at the launch party of new EDM label Liquid State where he took the chance to officially announce the forthcoming collaboration with Parker. No statement has yet been made, but according to Pitchfork, Billboard Dance has also confirmed the collaboration with ZHU’s management.

Stay tuned for more details.
