Building your photography chops? Don’t miss the Australian Centre for Photography’s killer workshops

In the lead-up to our very first photographic print issue, we’ve been delving further into the world of Australian photography – and those who keep it spinning – than ever before. Right behind every camera is not just a photographer but their influences, their choice in gear, their education, and so much more.

The Australian Centre for Photography is one of the longest-running and most reputable educators in Australian photography, and this weekend they’ll be taking part in our Issue 8 Launch with a pre-show workshop and our joint photo exhibition The Parlour. If you can’t make that, don’t fret – it’s hardly the only ACP workshop on the calendar.

Aspiring photographer? If you’re heading along to our Issue 8 Launch, be sure to check in with The Australian Centre for Photography.

In addition to a constant stream of exhibitions, the ACP runs regular workshops aimed at all ends of the photography spectrum; beginner to pro, pre to post-production, architectural to photojournalistic.

The workshops are run by experienced photographers, videographers, teachers or artists, and range from intensive weekend sessions to five-day mini courses. Check out a full list of the workshops here.

But if you’re stuck on music, we understand. On June 16th before our Issue 8 Launch, the ACP and photographer Bill Green will be undertaking a Live Music Photography workshop at The Lady Hampshire Hotel in Camperdown. Grab all the details here.
