Diana Radar’s new video Growing is a slice of careless DIY glory

Earlier this year, with the release of their track Sex Sells, we were immediately introduced to the slick post-punk sounds of Melbourne’s Diana Radar.

Since then, the band have released a string of great singles that we’ve been listening to relentlessly. Now, they’ve shared a new video for their track Growing… and we reckon it’s pretty damn good.

Simultaneously energetic and nonchalant; Melbourne four-piece Diana Radar are back with another new video for their track Growing.

On the new track, Diana Radar breeze through a unique blend of jangly pub-rock, brit-pop, and post-punk to deliver a sound that’s distinctly their own.

With bright guitar lines and effortlessly addictive vocal hooks, the group have crafted a track that’ll leave you desperately wanting more.

The track’s accompanying video sees the band decked out in some debonair suits, performing before some flashing and distorted, vintage green screen imagery.

This is only the third single we’ve heard from Diana Radar, but judging by what we’ve heard so far, I think we can safely expect plenty more great tunes from this Melbourne band.

For now, do yourself a favour and watch the new video for Growing above. Catch Diana Radar live at The Grace Darling Hotel in Collingwood on September 29th. More info here.
