David Byrne, iconic frontman of Talking Heads and general musical genius, is touring this great nation of ours later this year… and please excuse me while I regain some composure, I’m so freakin excited.
The tour will be in support of his latest solo album American Utopia, which was released earlier this year.
Talking Heads frontman David Byrne will be bringing his insane new live show down under this November, and let me tell you this: You don’t wanna miss out.
Across the November run of shows, Byrne will be accompanied by his 12-piece band, and is expected to play material from his entire career, including tracks from Talking Heads and his collaborative album with St. Vincent.
Byrne has described this current live show as “the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Making Sense.”
The new production is choreographed by artist Annie-B Parson, who also worked with Byrne on his Broadway musical Here Lies Love.
