An unparalleled collection of photography encapsulating the career of The Grateful Dead is set to be released, all in a handy coffee table book.

“Shocking as it may seem—particularly given the unparalleled job the band’s shepherds did in documenting its history—until now there has been no definitive visual reference encompassing the 30 year career of the Grateful Dead.”

The band’s career spanned 1965 through to 1995, when they disbanded following the death of their vocalist and lead guitarist Jerry Garcia. They were an instrumental force of the countercultural movement which dominated the late ’60s, and their influence has yet to stop reverberating through rock music’s cannon.

Eyes of the World: Grateful Dead Photography 1965 – 1995 will be released as a coffee table, fine art hardcover.
