David Bowie’s son launches monthly book club honouring his father’s favourite literature

Film director Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code), the son of David Bowie, has launched an online book club dedicated to his late father’s favourite reads.

A list of Bowie’s 100 favourite books was first published in 2013, including works from T. S. Elliot, Truman Capote, Jack Kerouac, George Orwell and many more.

The book club was inspired by a post from Jones on Twitter. After the attention it received, the initiative was made official… beginning this month with Hawksmoor by Peter Ackroyd.
