Bob’s Burgers announces 112 track album featuring St. Vincent, The National and probably some butts

Teaming up with the legendary label Sub Pop, Fox TV series Bob’s Burgers has defied all normal logic with plans to release a 112 track album featuring every song composed for the cartoon, as well as a number of covers from their Bob’s Buskers series.

The aptly-named Bob’s Burgers Music Album features guest appearances from Sarah Silverman, Aziz Ansari, Bill Hader, Paul Rudd, Fred Armisen, and Zach Galifianakis as well as full-blown tracks from The National, Låpsley, St. Vincent, Stephin Merritt and more.

Get ready to jam along with Bob, Tina and the rest of the Bob’s Burgers cast with the encyclopaedic Bob’s Burgers Music Album.

Having just turned seven years old, Bob’s Burgers is the quirky brainchild of Loren Bouchard starring H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz and others as the Belcher family, a semi-functional and often malcontented five-piece who own a burger store.

The music in the show is excellent. Whimsical vignettes litter each episode, providing neat little interludes between the unbelievable shenanigans the Belchers often get up to. Grabbing every one of these delightful tracks in one place will be an absolute treat.

Catch the episodes of the Bob’s Buskers series below. The record will be released on May 12.
