After 6 years out of the country, ’90s garage rock legends Gomez are returning

In addition to their highly anticipated set at Byron Bay Bluesfest in April 2018, British legends Gomez have announced three sideshows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.

With a career spanning decades and numerous hit records, Gomez are bringing their celebrated garage rock sound to Australian shores and we could not be more excited. Considering that this is their first time performing back in Australia for six years, it would be an understatement to say that a show is well overdue.

It has been tipped that Gomez will be taking on tracks from their 1997 debut record Bring It On, as well as their more recent material from the 2006 album This is How We Operate.

With a Mercury Music Prize under their belt, which was received against stiff competition including Pulp, Massive Attack and Verge, these guys are of a generation of British artists you should definitely be aware of.  This tour marks the twenty year anniversary of Bring It On, and is a clear celebration of their impressive career and of their fans across the world.

Grab all the details on the poster below. If you can’t make Bluesfest we highly recommend you jump on these sideshows.

Tickets are available on Friday November 17th. Grab yours here.
