Laura Marling, Beck, Patti Smith and more penned for an album inspired by the film Roma

If you haven’t seen Roma yet, you should probably fix this before February 8th.

Releasing on February 8th, the album Music Inspired by the Film Roma features a collection of songs from Laura Marling, Beck, Patti Smith and many more. The Alfonso Cuarón film has been nominated for 10 Oscars, including Best Picture, Best Foreign Film, and Best Screenplay, with Cuarón winning Best Director at the Golden Globes earlier this month.

Patti Smith, Billie Eilish, Beck and many more major artists have contributed songs to an upcoming album, Music Inspired by the Film Roma.

Set in the early 1970s, the film is semi-autobiographical to Cuarón’s upbringing in Mexico City. Roma is now streaming on Netflix and still showing in select cinemas, including Newtown’s DendyWe strongly suggest you check it out before the album drops on February 8th for full listening enjoyment.
