Basenji, Pond and Kilter to headline Red Bull Music’s Bright Futures series

Red Bull Music and multi-disciplinary Perth artist Ta-ku have teamed up to curate a series of four end-of-year shows happening across Australia this November and December.

An audio and visual feast of possibility and optimism, Bright Futures will venture nationwide to help celebrate the end of semester and the beginning of summer on a high note.

Bright Futures, which launches in Newcastle on November 17, is an opportunity for music-lovers and students alike to come together for an end of year celebration with some of Australia’s most exciting performers.

Sunday, November 17 will see Bright Futures kick off at the Newcastle Hotel, headlined by local beat-maker Kilter, whose bass-defining releases have seen him tour the world over. Punters can also witness NLV Records signee and emerging queen of left-of-centre pop, Kota Banks alongside energetic electronic Canberra duo, Hi Life.

Thursday November 22 will see Yah Yahs in Melbourne light up, with performances from Kaiit, Billy Davis and 30/70.

Basenji, Ninajirachi and Skin on Skin will take The Empire Hotel in Brisbane by storm on Friday, November 23 as part of the series, too.

The final event will take place at Friday Studios in Perth on Wednesday, December 5 and will see Pond, Zän and Racoo party into the night.

Tickets for all events are $10 and will be available to purchase online before the events.
