Punk fiends As A Rival announce monster Australian tour, so get ready for something chaotic

Melbourne four-piece As A Rival are bringing their rockin’ riffs and punk stylings around the country after dropping their new single Obsolete. Quickly garnering a reputation as a group with proper attitude, As A Rival has been setting roofs on fire since their release of their first album By Design earlier this year.

Today the band announces an epic twelve-date tour, so there’s no excuse to miss them.

As A Rival

As A Rival have dropped their new single titled Obsolete, but there’s nothing to be missed about this punk-infused anthem preaching the fight against getting old.

The Obsolete Spring ’16 tour will be kicking off early August in Victoria, and hitting venues in South Australia, New South Wales and Tassie.

The band originally took its name as a challenge; they wanted to be their own rivals on the path to the top. This tour continues the trend, taking the band’s fear of being overlooked and turning into musical strength.

As A Rival’s history proves they are up to the challenge. Are you up to the chaos that these rockstars’ gigs are bound to be?

The Obsolete tour dates are below:

August 5 – The Eastern – Ballarat, VIC
August 6 – Music Man – Bendigo, VIC
August 12 – Brisbane Hotel – Hobart, TAS
August 13 – Club 54 – Launceston, TAS
August 26 – Flanagan’s – Mt Gambier, SA
August 27 – Ed Castle – Adelaide, SA
