During the Obama administration, people were permitted to use the bathroom of whatever gender they personally identified with. So was it really any surprise that Trump broke his promise to continue supporting these guidelines?
Arts Not Parts is the art initiative created by a teenage girl named Gray, supporting the trans community with the help of 45 artists, activists, musicians, magazines and models.
Not really, no. But not all hope is lost, as the bright young minds at Irregular Labs in New York fight back against Trump’s unreasonable, sexist laws. Arts Not Parts is the art initiative created by a teenage girl named Gray, which support the transgender community with the help of 45 artists, activists, musicians, magazines and models.
Peaches and Sia are two artists who are super pumped to be on board with this, along with Adwoa, Adboah, JD Samson, Charlie Craggs, polyester Zine and Dazed Digital magazine. The idea is to create posters that will defy Trump and the rest of his sexist political party, whilst making anyone of any gender feel safe comfortable with who they are.
The posters, which will hopefully be put up in bathrooms around the US, can be downloaded and printed off so anyone can jump onboard the Trump-hate train and be pro-transgender.
