How the fuck? Adult Swim to drop 52 standalone singles from Julian Casablancas, Brian Eno, Flying Lotus and more this year

The earth’s capital city for fucked-up cartoons, outsider musicians and off-beat comedy Adult Swim has booked some of the best artists in the world for this year’s Singles Program. How on earth they pulled this together, we haven’t the slightest. But we’re not complaining.

For the first time in its seven year history, the program will release one track per week for 52 weeks. An entire year. Goddamn.

Starting today, Adult Swim will be dropping a single per week for the next year. Given the artists on the lineup, you can expect some zany shit.

Expect new weirdness from the likes of Flying Lotus, Brian Eno, Dinosaur Jr., Run The Jewels and more in the compilation. It’s a massive undertaking, and something I’ll definitely be looking forward to each week. Check out the full list of artists below.

Now, if we can just have season three of Rick and Morty, that’d be great thanks.

Listen to the first single, Pose To by Zaytoven featuring the late Bankroll Fresh, Young LA, and Twista, below.
