When you’re travelling Australia in the back of a van, a great playlist is a necessity. Here are 5 tracks that Ziggy Alberts takes with him everywhere.

Dermot Kennedy – An Evening I Will Not Forget

My filmer Sam introduced me to this Irish artist. His music is incredibly raw and genre-wise, it kind of sits by itself. This particular song has a very interesting structure, it kinda peaks in the middle, which is rare in songwriting.

Ben Howard – Keep Your Head Up

It’s just a song that I’ve listened to thousands of times and it just brings me back to this feeling of joy. One of my favourite artists ever.

Nathan Ball – Waste Of Time ( Acoustic)

This is one of my friends who I’ve toured with in England. Great guy and his music is brilliant. The warmth of this recording, produced with another friend Max, is second to none.

Catfish & The Bottlemen – 7

One of my brother’s favourite bands. I don’t listen to much rocky kinda stuff but this band and song is absolutely killer.

The Lumineers – Ophelia

Love Me Now is very much inspired by these guys. This song is just so raw, and is helping break the belief that you need to have a “polished” kinda song for radio.
