Thom Yorke and Robert Del Naja release UK Gold soundtrack for free

Thom Yorke and Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja have teamed up to produce the soundtrack for British documentary UK Gold, which explores the history of tax avoidance in Britain, which has come to a head in the last few years with celebrities like George Michael, Katie Melua, Gary Barlow and four members of the Arctic Monkeys being put on the naughty step. So in the spirit of being a tightarse, the two have decided to hand their work out for free.

Members of Radiohead and Massive Attack have worked with each other before, but this soundtrack, also featuring Radiohead guitarist/auteur Jonny Greenwood and Guy Garvey of fellow English band Elbow, is their first major collaborative output. Talking about new output, Radiohead have hinted that they’re working on a new record and trip-hoppers Massive Attack have revealed that they’re planning to hook-up with American rap duo Run the Jewels.
