After hinting at new music for a while now, Wolfmother frontman Andrew Stockdale has revealed the band will dropping a new album on February 19 2016.
Titled Victorious, this will be the band’s fourth album, following their 2014 record release New Crown. Victorious was produced with Brendan O’Brien, who has previously worked with the likes of Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen.
On the new material, Stockade told Billboard “I listened to it yesterday, or a couple of days ago, played it to a friend and just seeing people really freak out over Victorious and seeing the way it hits them, the beat and the chorus, it’s almost like it’s having a second life now, and it’ll have another life as well when it comes out.”
Stockdale has premiered the album’s title track on Apple Beats 1 radio station, which is available for streaming here.
