Not everyone can be a champion in the latest edition of Monopoly celebrating British rock legends Queen

Iconic family/friendship-breaking board game Monopoly has rolled out its latest limited edition series celebrating Queen.

The board game details milestones in Queen history as well as giving participants the chance to feel like a band member themselves.

“Looks good… smells very good…” test your knowledge of Queen and the strength of your friendships with the new Queen Monopoly series.

Lead guitarist Brian May says the aim is to highlight some of the experiences Queen faced “on the road” such as “hotels, gigs, cars, planes, trains etc.”

“This particular game is designed to make you feel like you are on the road, you’ve got your band on the road, you have a career and all the milestones that happen in real life will happen to you – all the good stuff and all the bad stuff too.”

The board game features Monopoly’s iconic playing pieces transformed into Queen-themed tokens such as a woman riding a bicycle (“she’s a fat-bottomed girl”), May’s guitar and a vacuum cleaner (from I Want to Break Free).

Yes, it’s a little cheesy – especially with a GoPro strapped to his chest – but you can watch the video below.

Did you know Brian May was an astrophysicist? He recently worked with NASA on a future mission to Pluto.
