Two explosions injure and kill ticket holders at Ariana Grande concert in Manchester

At least 19 people have been killed with 50 injured following two explosions which occurred last night at an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester.

A representative of Ariana Grande has reported the singer is okay. According to one concert-goer who was attending with his 13-year-old daughter, the arena was in a complete state of panic following the two loud explosion sounds.

Taking place at Manchester Arena just before 10.35pm, British Transport Police have confirmed the incident was an act of terrorism, with the two explosions reportedly taking place in the Arena’s foyer.

Whilst a report from NBC news stated that “at least 20 people were killed and hundreds of others were injured”, further investigations are currently taking place.

A representative of Ariana Grande has reported the singer is okay. According to one concert-goer who was attending with his 13-year-old daughter, the arena was in a complete state of panic following the two loud explosion sounds.

“Everyone just fled,” said David Richardson, “Some people were injured. We saw blood on people when we got outside. People were just running all over the place.”
