Continuing a trend of the rock bands of yesteryear resurfacing, Trent Reznor has confirmed via Twitter that his band Nine Inch Nails will be returning with new material in 2016. It’s okay to come out of hiding now industrial rock fans.
The last we’ve heard from NIN was their 2013 album Hesitation Marks which they supported with a huge world tour. Since then Reznor has put the project to the side working as a music curator at Beats Music and later, Apple Music. He also dabbled in the film industry scoring the soundtrack for the film Gone Girl.
Reznor took to Twitter to reveal the news that he was getting the band back together.

Nine Inch Nails are currently collaborating with artist and long-time collaborator Russell Mills to create Cargo in the Blood, a limited edition 320 page book collecting the artwork Mills created for Hesitation Marks. There are only 2000 copies available, which includes an original mixed media portrait Mills made specifically for the Cargo in the Blood project.
