With Jóhann Jóhannsson attacking the soundtrack, Arrival director Denis Villeneuve taking the film’s helm and Ridley Scott pumping leftover Gladiator cash into production, there’s around a million reasons to be excited for Blade Runner 2049.
The long awaited sequel to Scott’s 1982 cyperpunk masterpiece Blade Runner, the sequel sees Harrison Ford returning to the role of Rick Deckard. New faces in the cast include Ryan Gosling, Robin Wright and Jared Leto.
Featuring a creepy Jared Leto, otherworldly cinematography and a haunting score, the official trailer for Blade Runner 2049 has us officially hooked.
The trailer offers far more than the film’s teaser in January including a first look at multiple actors including Robin Wright and Jared Leto (not to mention Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling speaking).
Another exciting addition is what appears to be new music from the film’s composer Jóhann Jóhannsson.
