Let’s be honest, The Lego Movie was pretty great. There’s no surprise that there is a sequel in the works, so let’s just dream for a moment that the next catchy theme song is played on tiny Lego Moogs. Oh wait, someone has made these things? Ah, everything is awesome.
As it turns out, a fellow working under the alias of Grobie87 has constructed Lego versions of two different models, ‘The Model D’ and ‘Voyager Old School’, in the hopes that Lego will pick up the designs and begin mass manufacturing them for all the kiddies (and let’s face it, adults) to play with.
Speaking of the project, Grobie87 says “Go retro-analog with these miniaturized versions of the classic Minimoog synthesizer! The Model D (left) and the Voyager Old School (right) are both represented in a small display set that would look great on the shelf of any synth geek, electronics buff, or general music lover.”
The project has been submitted through the Lego Ideas initiative, which requires 10 000 people to support the idea before being reviewed by Lego head honchos. Check out the page to lend your support. If the double decker couch can be a thing, than so can this.
