The Hills Are Alive sets 2016 dates, with line-up coming next week

Boutique festival The Hills Are Alive is coming back for is eighth annual event in 2016, set to take place over the Easter weekend in March.

The event will go down at Victoria’s South Gippsland over three days and two nights, following sister event NYE On The Hill. The BYO camping event will once again be invite-only, with event organisers explaining “To attend you need to be invited by someone who has attended before or by one of the artists performing (who will whisper ‘The Farmer’s Secret Password’ to you which you need to be able to purchase tickets).”

After this year’s event featured a killer line-up including the likes of SAFIA, Vance Joy, Courtney Barnett and Sticky Fingers, the 2016 line-up, which will be dropping at 9am next Wednesday, December 2, has some big shoes to fill.

Tickets will be on sale from 9am Thursday December 3.
