Survived Sydney Laneway Festival? Get a look at your sweaty self in our pics from the weekend scorcher

If you managed to survive the heat of St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival Sydney, congratulations. We were there, and managed to snap a few pics in between our ice baths.

Over the weekend at the Sydney leg of St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival, things got a little sweaty to say the least.

While we were sweltering in anticipation to see huge acts the likes of Tame Impala, Whitney and Gang of Youths, the temperatures soared to frankly uncomfortable levels. Yet, it didn’t dissuade a soul and the punters were out in force despite a criminal heat throughout the event.

The above three bands were definite highlights, along with massive performances from Car Seat Headrest, Floating Points and Tycho.

The Dune Rats brought out the best in the crowd after slinging some stanky product placement (Who’s Scott Green rolling papers – extra large) into the masses, and GL opened the festival with a set which out-funked the entire ticket.

Catch all our photo action from Laneway above, as snapped by the awesome Brooke Tunbridge.
