Oxford Art Factory proved they’ll be here forever at their 10th birthday bash

In a Sydney scene that’s faced a decade of twists, turns and no small share of bruises, Oxford Art Factory has reigned supreme.

Making it through a decade as a music venue in Sydney is a fairly incredible feat. So for their 10th birthday celebrations, Darlinghurst’s iconic Oxford Art Factory did what they do best and threw an unforgettable party featuring a maelstrom of mind-blowing music.

We wouldn’t have expected anything less from the people who housed the likes of Lady Gaga, Tame Impala, Foals, The Rubens, Matt Corby and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard early on in the piece.

They have also extended their celebrations with the awesomely curated FREEDOM gigs, a four part series of free gigs held throughout the year. Because a decade of hosting some of the most iconic parties in Sydney can’t just be summed up in one night of revelry.

On Saturday night, we saw some of the best local names meld with staple acts from around Oz, seasoned and up-and-coming alike.

Bare Minimums, Big White, Nice Biscuit, Party Dozen, Sunscreen, Green Buzzard, Darts, GUM, ORB and Palms all got in on the hot action and we’ve never been so damn giddy over a line-up like this.

Peep the shots and catch a glimpse of what went down.
