After releasing their new single Someone Who’ll Get It last week, indie-pop five piece Highasakite have shared the details of their upcoming album.

Following their 2014 record Silent Treatment, the upcoming album will be titled Camp Echo, named after Guantanamo Bay’s detention camps.

The band’s lead singer Ingrid Helene Håvik explained the themes portrayed throughout the album, saying “It’s not a political album in that sense that I want people to side with specific party or mindset, but it has been central in my life. There are not many love songs on the album, because I haven’t been in that state of mind for a long time. Global warming and war have been my main concern.”

The album will contain nine tracks, and is due for release on Friday May 20 through Caroline Australia.
