Mammoth Merchandise bringing new live music venue to Sydney

After Sydney has recently faced the closure of numerous live music venues and copped the brunt of new lockout laws, there may now be a new venue opening on the horizon.

Marrickville

Sydney company Mammoth Merchandise has announced the opening of a new integrated creative and live music venue, set to open in their new space in Marrickville, co-inciding with the brand’s 10th anniversary.

The venue will aim to offer a space to re-connect fans with live music and bands, and will hold live performances, intimate showcases, meet and greets and band signings. Since Mammoth’s establishment, the company has worked with the likes of Northlane, Tkay Maidza and Courtney Barnett, and will look at showcasing small and large acts.

On the new venue, Mammoth Merchandise told theMusic “I’ve found with Sydney, with everything going on and the laws changing that we just wanted a place where fans can go and know that they had a destination that was a permanent location, not just a pop-up store”.
