Singer/songwriter Joe Mungovan has had a huge 2016 already. He’s dropped his second EP Way Down South, an emotional indie folk record packed with healthy doses of deep lyrical accompaniment and unstoppable goosebumps.

Mungovan is a Kiama boy, a great fit for a sound so reflective of the sunny, coastal side of Aussie life. However, he’s kissing the hometown goodbye for a hefty chunk of the coming few months as he gears up for the What Am I Doing To Myself Again? tour.

Joe Mungovan

An acoustic guitar and a set of pipes are all Joe Mungovan needs to hit the summit of the Aussie singer/songwriter charts. Soon enough, he’ll be bringing his coastal folk all over the country.

What Am I Doing To Myself won’t be the kind of ‘national’ tour that skips half of the continent. Mungovan will be attacking Australia at each point of the compass in an ambitious, far-reaching tour that will last two months.

The vocal, indie folk that Mungovan treats audiences to is the kind of music best heard live. There’s no doubt stage acoustics and an audience quietened by beautiful music will be the ideal setting to catch the Kiama songwriter.

The tour will be kicking off mid-September, so there’s still plenty of time to grab tickets. Chances are, Mungovan will be coming somewhere near you. Catch all the dates and lucky venues below:
