Jack Carty – The Predictable Crisis Of Modern Life EP

Jack Carty

If you like the truth and varying degrees of beard then you should hold on to your hats ladies and gentleman , Jack Carty is gearing up to launch another EP this Thursday the 30th of May and it looks like something spectacular is on its way.

Jack Carty

If you are a newbie to the folk genre, you definitely should check out Jack Carty. He will change your life for the better.

Carty has teamed up with Sydney-based producer Casual Psychotic for this one and turned this newest release from a Sydney favourite into a whirlwind adventure; quite a feat for six tracks.

Carty has showcased the acoustic versions of four tracks on his YouTube channel; and although they’ve been stripped down to one guitar and Carty’s enchanting voice, you can tell just from the excited grin on his face as he curls around his guitar that The Predictable Crisis of Modern Life EP promises to be something special.

“While Carty’s distinct vocal style and acoustic finger-picked guitar make up the basis of The Predictable Crisis of Modern Life‘s six tracks Casual Psychotic takes them in completely new directions with samples, drum machines, synths and even wailing rock guitars.”Timber and Steel

Jack Carty and Casual Psychotic will officially launch The Predictable Crisis of Modern Life tomorrow night at the Hibernian House with support from Melbourne’s Dan Parsons. Tickets are $15 (plus booking fee) and are still available here.
