Introducing Kit Pop

Have you ever found yourself dancing the night away in some underground club only to realise that its already fucking 4am? You could say you literally got lost in the music and once you accept the fact its only going to get later, you continue dancing.

Kit Pop’s little dance numbers are definitely something you could dance the night away to, which unfortunately could prove a little difficult following Sydney’s new lock out laws*. Luckily, this wonder child calls Perth home. With songs like Move, Dukke, Survive My Attention and a funky collaboration with Ta-ku on Bounce, Kit Pop has conjured up chaotic dance tracks with a hint of hip hop.

He’s played around Australia at festivals such as Laneway, Parklife, Good Vibrations and Big Day Out. Not to mention this multi-tasker has started his own label, Paper Chain, to help bring attention to Perth’s growing underground talent. Kit Pop will be releasing music under his own alias soon but in the meantime, check out his recent work with Ta-ku as HOWLS.

Editorial: Combine these new laws with the creepy bitch on the trains who is hellbent on rubbish removal with you to avoid on the spot fines and thank the gods that it’s the next generation that is going to be truly fucked because this is only the start of our transformation into Oceania.
