HIGHASAKITE are back with sombre new single, Someone Who’ll Get It from their upcoming LP

Australia’s favourite Norwegian indie brooders, Highasakite have dropped a shiny new single Someone Who’ll Get It, their first release from their highly anticipated sophomore album set for release later this year.

High as a kite

After spending last year snuggled deep into the ears of Australians and the rest of the world, enjoying high rotation on Triple J and even hitting #78 on the Hottest 100 with Since Last Wednesday, the Norwegian heartstring pluckers are back in full force with one of their darkest tracks yet. With lyrics commentating on today’s tumultuous political and social climate, Someone Who’ll Get It shows a side of the band scarcely heard in such raw form.

Singer Ingrid Helene Havik pours over a listener the cold burn of inner turmoil felt by the helpless bystander. The gorgeous  and somewhat ominous track draws from a more vulnerable yet, mature side of the band and stirs excitement for more in their upcoming LP.
