Hein Cooper’s smooth new single is anything but Rusty

Following the release of his debut, self-titled EP earlier this year, Hein Cooper has released his new track Rusty.

Sydney

Cooper has explained where the inspiration behind Rusty comes from, saying “I often struggle with the state of the world and how society functions in such a cold and divided way. But what hurts me most is the way so many people seem to bury these feelings and glue a false sense of happiness to themselves rather than confront the way they actually feel. I’d rather be authentic in my sadness than false in my happiness.”

Cooper has spent the majority of 2015 in Canada working on his debut album, set for release on early 2016, and is now heading back to Australia for a string of shows on the east coast.
