In what will be a battle of titans, Foo Fighters front man and all round nice guy Dave Grohl has been announced to guest star in an episode of The Muppets which will include a drum battle with Animal.
The show returned to air with new episodes last month, with Grohl to appear in the episode Going, Going, Gonzo to challenge The Muppets’ resident stickman to a drum off. This won’t be the first time Grohl has appeared alongside Jim Henson’s lovable characters, the musician making a cameo in The Muppets 2011 film as Animool, the drummer in Fozzie Bear’s B-grade band The Moopets.
