David Bowie and Trevor Jones‘ Labyrinth soundtrack is finally getting a vinyl reissue.

Labyrinth Vinyl reissie

For the first time in over 30 years, David Bowie and Trevor Jones’ magical soundtrack for Labyrinth is getting a vinyl reissue.

It’s been 30 years since the magical soundtrack was released on vinyl (and cassette), and those original 1986 pressings are currently fetching up to three digits on second hand markets.

During his illustrious career, Bowie made three soundtracks, one for German film Christiane F., another for TV series The Buddha of Suburbia, and most notably for the mystical fantasy Labyrinth, in which Bowie also starred as Jareth, the Goblin King.

The soundtrack, co-written by Trevor Jones, features several Bowie originals, including Underground, Magic Dance and As the World Falls Down, alongside Jones’ original score.

You can get your mitts on it for a far more reasonable price from May 12th via Bull Moose.
