After much reluctance, Thom Yorke’s solo albums are now on Spotify

Thom Yorke has always been pretty reluctant to have his music avaliable on Spotify.

Back in 2013, him and Nigel Rodrich pulled their music from the platform (including the Atoms For Peace album, AMOK, and Yorke’s album, The Eraser) in protest of the way it pays artists. He later told Mexican music website, Sopitas, that he thought Spotify was “the last desperate fart of a dying corpse”.

Nonetheless, Radiohead’s music has slowly been making its way on to the service over the past 24 months. And now, Yorke’s solo albums – 2006’s The Eraser and 2014’s Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes, plus Atoms for Peace’s AMOK – are avaliable for your streaming pleasure.
