The Ocean Party have just dropped the news that they will be releasing their fifth album in three years, Light Weight, as well as announcing a huge 26-show national tour that will kick off on August 28 and see them through until mid-November. Light Weight will be released on October 9 through Spunk Records, and was recorded with Melbourne producer John Lee.
So far they have released one single off the album, Guess Work, which was the first time the band had recorded in a studio. The Light Weight tour will kick off in Melbourne, and aside from their headline shows, will see the boys playing the Rice is Nice vs. Spunk BIGSOUND pre-party, as well as BIGSOUND.
